Jon Crawford Secures the Endorsement of Yountville Vice Mayor Kerri Dorman

Napa, CA – Undersheriff Jon Crawford (ret.) announced today that he has secured the endorsement of Yountville Vice Mayor Kerri Dorman, in the race for Napa County Sheriff in 2022.
Vice Mayor Dorman explained her endorsement, stating “Jon is a rare combination of smarts, compassion, character, wit and creativity. He leads by example, inspiration and motivation. His starting – and ending – point is always ‘what’s the right thing to do?’ He is the leader we need to take us forward and I am proud to support him.”
In response to her endorsement, Crawford remarked “Kerri is widely recognized across our region as a person of integrity and an effective leader. It is an honor to have her on my team as we work to move the Napa County Sheriff’s Department forward”
After working for different law enforcement agencies in Northern California for several years, Jon began his career with the Napa County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy in 1998. Jon worked his way up the ranks, eventually overseeing the Community Services Bureau, Investigations Bureau, and operations in the Town of Yountville. For the past three years, Jon oversaw the day-to-day operations of the department as Undersheriff.
Vice Mayor Dorman joins a growing list of community leaders rallying behind Crawford’s candidacy for Sheriff, including District Attorney Allison Haley, St. Helena Police Chief Chris Hartley and Calistoga Police Chief Mitch Celaya.
